Where am I?
You may well ask where I’ve been lately. The answer would be “Precisely nowhere” I am still coughing for England, not sleeping at night because of the coughing – even though I am sleeping (or not) sitting up. I’m going through tissues faster than I would like, because we are STILL snowed in, with no signs of any improvement soon!
Mo is going stir crazy! She always goes out at least once a day and usually more often. Her attempts at walking to the chemist for medication for me, ended when she couldn’t even walk up our drive to the road! It really is like a skating rink out there. Thank goodness for family and friends at a time like this! It has thawed out a little, but that has made it worse because it then froze up. Now we have black ice on the roads and white ice everywhere else. The last time I saw snow and ice like this was in the sixties. It lasted about six weeks before it finally thawed – and that was in London! Somehow boots were a lot better for gripping the ice back then.
I took these few shots through my window again. Sadly, it’s all I can do.
My blogging will get back to normal, and I will cheer up soon, I promise. Until then, will you forgive me if I’m not too funny….please?

Be careful out there – The other day I slid down the sidewalk – for just a bit actually – but boy oh boy the body reacted with fright ! LOL
You mean your snow does not accumulate and last all season ?
For us, even if the snow begins to melt, sooner or later we’ll be dumped with fresh snow – Gotta live with that eh LOL

I hope you feel better soon and I hope that cough goes away so you can get some sleep. I hate those kinds of coughs.
Second, I hope it warms up for you and you can all go outside again without fearing the ice. I wouldn’t like that one bit either.

Aw! Please feel better, Babs! Coughing is the WORST! Your whole body starts to hurt after a while. I’m so sorry. You did get some lovely photos, tho. It’s so sweet of you to think of us while you’re sick. Take care of yourself! We’ll still be here!

But just think of how much more delightful things will be when you’re well and you can get outdoors. Can you tether a line of rope at the top of your driveway and then Mo can pull herself up and lower her down? Just kidding. Sort of. Your pictures are so pretty. Aw, I am sorry to read you are still sick and coughing! Take care and don’t worry about blogging; you know we will be here when you are well enough to post again.
When I heard that London all got even MORE snow, of course I thought of the two of you… I think you have more than us now, but at least yours won’t last till April

Being sick for so long seems to confirm it’s genuine flu, doesn’t it.
You take care now, both of you! I hope you feel better soon. I hope you’re drinking a lot and taking lots of extra vit C and eating garlic laden foods etc.
And remember, don’t go out before you’re ready. You don’t want pneumonia and you don’t want to go skating without skates!

I think a lot of bloggers are hibernating… my but your cat is beautiful. She looks like my cat KEY- only Key is really scraggly looking for a black cat. It seems that somewhere down the line, Key has not learned proper cat hygiene.
