Look what I got & Which doodle?
It was my birthday yesterday and just look what my sister ‘GrannyGrimble’ gave to me! My very own ephilump!
It isn’t 3 inches but it’s pretty close at 4 1/2 inches. Those of you that read my ‘Honest Scrap’ post will know the relevance of this. Isn’t she lovely? If I can’t have a live one, this is definitely the next best thing!
I also got a nice new lens for my camera from Mo, among other things.
While my sister and her husband were here, we showed them our Wii. They had a couple of games of golf and bowling and enjoyed it so much that they went home and immediately went online and ordered there own! Normally you wouldn’t think that was unusual, but my sister is 77 and her husband is in his eighties! The Wii is good for ‘low impact’ exercise, and you can take it at your own pace, so I guess most age groups can enjoy and benefit from it.
Which doodle?

There you have it. The redheaded windswept doodle wins! Except for the slight modification, there will be no change – at least until I get another bee in my bonnet! Thank you all for taking the time to vote. If I’m honest, and I am always honest, I think I would have been sad to see her go!

Oh, Babs! I missed your birthday! Happy belated! I’m so thrilled you got your beloved elephant. She’s adorable.
It’s no surprise to me that your sister and brother in law are getting a Wii. And you’re right that almost everyone can do it. Even with tennis, you don’t need to throw your whole body into it. All you need is a quick wrist! That’s awesome. Good for them.

Your right about tennis. When I am really out of breath but don’t want to stop playing, I have even played it sitting down, until I get my second wind!
Maureen: Don’t worry about the laughter, that’s half the fun! I usually lay back with my camera, taking photos of all the players with their strange expressions
Swubird: Elephants are great to collect. They are beautiful creatures, with human-like emotions too!
