My Birthday
I had a lovely birthday and Mo arranged a buffet in the evening. I received some lovely cards and here are a few pics of the home made works of art.

This card from Bill & Anne wasn’t home made but I had to show you because the moment I opened it, Sukie grabbed the little bell in her mouth and tried to walk off with it!
I received two ‘alternative’ gifts for World Vision which were lovely to open.
You get that ‘feel good’ factor knowing you have done your little bit. It’s a great idea for those who have all they need, or for those who don’t :O)

The evening came, along with the family and Pam & Michael. Leeta wasn’t feeling well enough to come, which was a shame. It might be the time of year but it’s not unusual for members of my family to be missing on my birthday, through illness or such.
It was a lovely evening and for once Mo didn’t do too much food – just enough for everyone to have their fill.

It was a smashing evening, although the TV game we played got a bit confusing! Hahah!
It is nice to have a little gathering, but boy, can we be noisy!!

It is at times like this that I miss my family so much it hurts :O(
Never mind I was their in spirit. It all looks like a great deal of fun was had by all.
Was the close up of the cat inside the card as I cannot see it on the front! The cat one was from Sandie and the other Leeta’s?
I am glad you had a wonderful day but sad that Leeta could not get out, she needed an evening of fun I felt. Never mind you are all so close you do not need Birthdays to get together.

So sorry I missed your special night Babs, but I did feel very off! Just got a cough now, but still feel very tired. I hope that you will invite me round soon so that we can see your new room. We haven’t even seen you new fire place let alone all the carpentry!So glad that you liked your card and the fruit trees!
