New look
I have been hard at work re-designing two of my blogs. Everything imaginable has gone wrong regarding Blogger compatibility, but here is my new look ‘beetle’ blog. I decided to use my ‘doodle’ as it was suggested that it would make a good avatar by both drowsey monkey and Liudmila. Hope you like it. I’m not sure what I think after all the changes I had to do to it, in order for it to work.
Feedback would be appreciated – even if you hate it.

I love the banner, and the layout is great. I’m not that fond of that amount of yellow, but that’s just personal. The important thing is that it’s easy to read and navigate!

Thank you all for your comments. That cheered me up a bit. I was getting so bogged down with it I couldn’t see the wood for the trees in the end.
Just had a thought. I have no idea what the colours look like on Windows, as I am Mac.

I like the new look, fresh but keeps the same color scheme which is important for continuity.

Also, this is one of the few really nice, clean and uncluttered looking blogs I have seen with the 3 column layout. Excellent job. I’m already working out how I can do something like it. My blog is really patchwork and cluttered looking. Thanks for the inspiration.

laura: Thank you for those comments. I have noticed a glitch – the left column does flow down with the content. It is such a long process for me to change that I might overlook that, at least for a little while.

I liked your other layout too…and I like this one. Both are great so go with what you like! It’s funny I’ve been looking at new templates to, it gets overwhelming after a while!
