Six quirky things about me
I have been tagged by Drowsey Monkey for this meme. I have to list six quirky things about myself. Here goes, and I hope you’re not too put off by them ;O)
Here are the Rules:
1. Link the person(s) who tagged you.
2. Mention the rules on your blog.
3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.
4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them.
5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged.
My list
1. I have sudden bursts of silly, spacky dancing for no reason, or sudden bursts of loud, operatic singing! Is that quirky enough?
2. I talk with my hands, apparently. I took note of this last night and – yes, it’s true!
3. I’ve been told that I lift my left leg up and down when playing my guitar, and that it looks – cute?
4. I never read instructions. The only exception to this is when trying to put flat pack furniture together – those instructions are always wrong anyway, and I could draw them up much better ;O)
5. I have a ‘thing’ about teeth and examine everybody’s teeth on TV. I can definitely tell who has had cosmetic dentistry, and usually ruined their teeth! Of course I verbalize my views all the time.
6. I never go to bed before 3am, unless I had no sleep the night before……then maybe 2am.
These were fairly easy to think of so I guess that probably means that I must have lots more, not so obvious, quirks.
Now I think I will be even more quirky and tag some kitties for this – and it is optional.
I tag:
Daisy
Sassy
JB
Samantha
Maggy & Zoey

Thanks for the meme, I will have to think about this before I post about it. Might be hard to come up with six things as I think I am perfect and don’t do anything unusual, ha, ha, ha.

HA! Those are all very cute quirky things. I especially love the leg lifting while playing guitar. When I was about 11, I took baton lessons and thought I was the greatest until my brother pointed out that I ground my jaw in time to the baton twirling. Not so cute.

Not so quirky, I think the instruction thing and not going to bed before 2am are perfectly normal

Drowsey Monkey: And the spacky dancing and singing? ;O)
Leigh | 8 June 2008 at 3:59
Wow, sounds like we could almost be the same person.

Deep and intense thought will be required. But as always, we shall accomplish the task at hand. Yet, with just the briefest of considerations we would have to say there is absolutely, pawsitively nothing the least bit “quirky” about us… should we perhaps “imagine” quirkiness? Now there’s a good idea!

Babs:
We definitely share number four, and number five is hilarious.
Happy trails.

Thanks for tagging me. I will have my mom help me with this one. I am quirky too! My mom does not like to stay up late like you at all….of course, if she did, I surely would keep her company!

Leigh: Just read your blog and I think we are the same person ;O)
Babs (Beetle) | 8 June 2008 at 17:17
Zoolatry: Oh I’m sure you can come up with some cute quirky ;O)
Swubird: I guess you can just imagine it! “Oh look what she’s done to her teeth!” or “Look at those awful tombstones” ha ha!
Babs (Beetle) | 8 June 2008 at 17:18
JB: Can’t wait to read it.
Daisy | 8 June 2008 at 21:01
My Mommie never reads directions either. Directions are boring. But staying up until 3:00 am? We get up at 4:00 am on days she goes to the shelter. We’re big afternoon nappers!
Thanks for tagging me! But I am hopelessly behind on memes. I am kind of a bad cat.

I never read instructions either and my husband has to read every word before he starts putting something together. It drives me crazy. Have a great day.
