An award & Memory Foam update
I have another award that came from Christelle of karooart. She makes beautiful, and very artistic jewelry from Polymer Clay. Thank you Christelle, for this ‘Brilliante Weblog’ award.

Update on the memory foam.
I have used my memory foam mattress for long enough now to judge how good it is. I haven’t had such comfortable nights sleep before. I also haven’t had as much back trouble!
My verdict? If you have any problems with an uncomfortable bed or waking up with backaches in the morning, then try one out. Both Mo and I love ours. Just a note about the memory foam pillows. We both threw them off the bed. We found them to be a bit like resting your head on a slab of concrete. Not that I’ve ever used a slab of concrete as a pillow.

Oh good! I’m glad it’s working for you! So the mattress is OK, but the pillows aren’t? Interesting!
I will not easily give up my Mediflow waterbase pillow. It is essential to any kind of night’s sleep at all, these days!

We invested in a memory foam mattress a couple of years ago and think it’s just wonderful. I did have my doubts when it arrived in a very tightly rolled cylinder. I couldn’t see how that was going to unfurl sufficiently to be any way comfortable, but it did.

I’ve always felt best when sleeping on the carpet. For some reason sleeping on a hard surface means the most peaceful sleep for me. Congrats on your award!

I’m glad you clarified about the concrete
I’ve heard those memory beds are great. I laid on one in the store and loved it.

Drowsey: They are very comfy. I think the pillow feels hard as there is no real weight to mold it, but the mattress is great.

I am so glad you wrote this review, We too have been shopping for new mattresses and keep trying the memory foam ones out.
But like you we tried the pillows and did not like them at all. So we were leery about getting a mattress made of the same thing.
I will keep this mind when we go looking again. It’s so refreshing to get a personal opinion that’s not a paid add.

Yikes! Glad to have the recommendation on the pillow. With our waterbed, my doc wanted me to try that for my bad neck. No way I’ll try it now… Thanks!
