Buddy isn’t buddies with Sukie

After all we did for him and this is how he shows his gratitude?

This is NOT Buddy. It’s our beautiful Sukie and she is not a happy bunny, or cat, come to that.

Buddy has decided to attack Sukie every time he comes around now.Β  Sukie has a favourite spot out in the garden. She sits on top of Mo’s little tool shed, which is by my window. She can watch the garden life go by, see into our living room, or sleep. Both Sukie and Mitzi love it there. It’s their secure little spot.

Not any more. Buddy strolls into our garden, climbs up to where Sukie is laying and attacks her. He doesn’t attack Mitzi, but never misses a chance to attack Sukie.Β  Now it’s war. We can’t have a cat attacking ours in their own home.Β  I think it’s water guns at the ready from now on.

I imagine he’s annoyed that we don’t feed him any more and wants to take it out on somebody.

  • Well, can you really blame Buddy? I mean if you stopped feeding me, I’d get pretty grumpy too.

Sukie really is a beautiful cat.

I gotta go get a Snickers bar.

    • I expect he just assumes he will get food everywhere he goes πŸ™‚

“I think it’s water guns at the ready from now on.”

Yup…that’s what I used to break up the rouse my two cats would get into. And they had this uncanny way of always doing it in the middle of the night and waking me up.

And Babs, that photo of Sukie is stunning! I can actually sense what her fur feels like (ultra soft), just from your photo. She is such a gorgeous cat!

    X to you and Mo!

    • Water makes them run, without hurting them. It’s the best option. Sukie is ultra soft and very cuddly. I love burying my face in her belly πŸ™‚

  • Comedy Plus

Yes, the water gun is in order. That will run him away after a bit. What a shame he’s acting like….a spoiled brat.

    Sukie is beautiful indeed.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs to you both. πŸ™‚

    • I know. If he didn’t attack Sukie, we’d let him roam around, as he is a lovely cat.

  • What an ungrateful boy!!! I think you should get out the water gun and let him know he isn’t welcome anymore. Poor Suki!!! Nothing worse than an interloper ruining quiet time.

    • The gun is loaded with water and waiting. We will not put up with bullying.

  • Suki is so gorgeous, Buddy is probably in love. A little like a schoolboy pulling a little girl’s pigtails. A cold shower is definitely in order πŸ™‚

    • Ha ha ha! I bet you’re right. Thank goodness he doesn’t have his bits, or I dread to think what he may have in mind.

  • Sukie is just so silky looking and beautiful! It’s annoying when another cat does that. We get some occasional unwelcome visitors..

    • We’re hoping that the water will eventually stop him coming around. I don’t know why it’s only Sukie he attacks. Poor baby.

  • Nebulous Mooch

Poor Sukie:( She is such a lovely cat. I hope you manage to get this problem sorted.

    • He is still sneaking around and bossing Sukie, but we shall persevere with the water gun πŸ˜‰

  • I can’t get over how much Sukie looks like my cat Cubby who died a while ago. He was my baby. He was more like a dog than a cat. I’m sorry Sukie is feeling Buddy’s wrath. I didn’t realize cats could be so vindictive.

    • Buddy isn’t the first cat to do this. Some years back there were two beautiful pedigree cats that moved into the area. They were identical and inseparable. They would come into our home and set about poor Livvie, chasing her through our rooms. They were obnoxious. Thankfully they moved away as quickly as they moved into the area.

  • Sukie is beautiful! I hope she finds some relief from Buddy’s assaults. Too bad he’s such a spoiled sport.

    • Unfortunately, even the water isn’t deterring him. He is still coming in and bullying Sukie. We are at a loss as to how to stop him now.

  • Hmmm – I wonder WHY Buddy only attacks Sukie and NOT Mitzi?

  • I’m so mad at Buddy, I could spit! I like Nicky’s response. A meanie who really loves her deep down!

    • He really is persistent. Never a day goes by without he comes around. He knows now to run when we catch him, but he still comes in when he can. Maybe the long winter (when cats stay home) will break his habit.
