Winter close-ups

posted by Babs on Friday, 13 February 2009

I’m sorry I haven’t posted much lately, but I’m having difficulty keeping this blog updated as much as I’d like to.

Here are a few photos I took recently, with my new Canon 50mm 1.8 lens.  Hope you like them.

The sun through the snow is lovely, I like how you played with light in the first two as well.

Looks to me like you’re doing quite well with your lens! But I know for myself I have had to figure out the strengths and weaknesses of mine. Thank goodness for digital pictures that can be deleted!

These are beautiful macros. I really want to get the 50mm 1.8 lens. They are super versatile. Nice images, Babs.

    Mel: Thanks ;)

Ruth: Oh I so use the delete function ;)

Tarheel Rambler: It is a lovely lens, but I have a lot of failures at the moment – focus not right. I’ll get there though.
