Sky Watch Friday

posted by Babs on Thursday, 31 July 2008
My sister took these photos at 5am this morning.  Such a beautiful sunrise.  The old saying is true – Red sky in morn, shepherds warning.  It has been raining all day.  We’ve had torrential downpours and flash floods!

All of my photographs enlarge for more detail.

Funny…we learned. Red Sky at night, sailors delight. Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning….Pretty photo

I’d be willing to put up with a day of rain if I had this view first thing in the morning. Beautiful. Happy Sky Watch Friday.

Very nice photos. I am just now getting around. For some reason my computer would not let me open up the links from the skywatch page on Friday.
